A Short Video Featuring our Volunteers

As disciples of Christ we should give of ourselves - our time, talents and resources - to care for those in need, wherever they may be.  Providing for the poor and needy in the Lord’s way means that the giver helps those who are less fortunate, by giving according to what each has received from God. Each gives freely and with a true spirit of love, recognizing that God is the source of all blessings and that a true disciple is responsible to use those blessings to meet these goals:

• Prolong life
• Reduce suffering
• Foster self-reliance
• Prepare for individual, family and community emergencies
• Sustain life, not a lifestyle
• Promote personal responsibility
• Provide an opportunity for individuals to serve their fellow man

• March 2010 - Called by a local church leader, Don and Mozelle Neville began humanitarian efforts one day a week in one classroom and half of a church cultural hall.
  • 25 volunteers produced 6000 items the first year.
• March 5, 2013 - The Idaho Falls Area Humanitarian Center, Inc. filed as a non-profit corporation
  • Over 26,000 items produced in 2013
• October 6, 2014 - The Center moved into a new 20,000 square feet building
  • 104,000 volunteer hours in 2014
• 2022 - Volunteers helped produce 38,112 items
  • 192,904 volunteer hours
